Where's my money?

The strip that won the Codacons cup at the 66th Venice Film Festival. The competition "Ridateci i Soldi" awards the most satirical comment on the Biennale.

Le dessin qui a gagné la coupe Codacons au 66ème Festival du Film de Venise. La compétition "Ridateci i Soldi" récompense le commentaire le plus drôle sur la Biennale.

The idea for this "vignetta" came to me as I was traveling from Rome to Genova in a train with no air conditioning (and 40° outside!). In every carriage, the man selling cold drinks would immediately get assaulted by all the thirsty passengers.

L'idée de ce dessin m'est venue tandis que je faisais le trajet Rome-Gênes dans un train sans climatisation (et 40° à l'ombre!). Dans chaque wagon, le vendeur de boissons fraîches se faisait pourchasser par des hordes de passagers assoiffés.

This little man is the main character of my graduation film: Paradis. I am currently building the website at www.paradis-the-film.com. It shoud be up and running very soon!

Le Corbeau et le Renard

To start with, here's a short comic I did for a competition on european citizenship (which managed to win the first prize for the UK!). It's an adaptation of the french tale Le Corbeau et le Renard by Jean de la Fontaine. The original tale pictures a foolish crow tricked into loosing its cheese to a flattering fox. But the 21st century bird is rebellious...

Post graduation film

Voilà! My graduation film is finally finished after a year's worth of effort and intense labour! (the film was actually completed one month ago) Hopefully, this will give me more time to post new drawings, sketches and various doodles a bit more often!
